QUTE-CE MRI – pronounced “Cutsie” – stands for Quantitative Ultra-short Time-to- Echo Contrast-Enhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

Our breakthrough platform imaging technology transforms any clinical scanner into powerful quantitative diagnostic tools by acquiring a quantitative signal intensity without the need for a baseline. Until now, MRI signal intensity has been only semi-quantitative because of sensitivity to susceptibility, vessel orientations and tortuosity, blood flow, blood volume and oxygenated state of hemoglobin.

Clinicians and scientists are using our software that provides a quantitative signal in conjunction with safe iron-oxide based contrast agents to selectively enhance the vascular compartment. Our platform technology has many more potential uses, such as safe vascular visualization for renal patients, quantitative characterization of chronic diseases, and acute point-of-care diagnostics for traumatic brain injury or stroke.
